Before Amber joined the Restart Scheme, she had been unemployed for a long period of time. She felt that her confidence had completely disappeared and that she would never have the opportunity to work again or improve her financial situation. However, with the support from our Restart Scheme team in Burnley, Amber is now back in sustainable employment working as a Legal Administrator at Roman Financial Services.
Amber was recently introduced to her employment advisers, Umera and Muz, who worked hard to find her a suitable role. After speaking with multiple employers in the area, Umera identified a company that was looking for a candidate with Amber's experience and skillset and set up an interview. In preparation for her interview, Amber was guided through a mock interview by the Burnley team. Amber said: "The team made me feel so comfortable and gave me the confidence to speak about myself and previous work experiences in my interview and followed the meeting up with emails and calls to ensure I had everything I needed!."
Amber was successful in her interview and is now pleased to be in a job that she enjoys again. She was over the moon with the service she received and shared the following feedback about the team.
She said: “During my first meeting with the Fedcap team, namely Umera, Muz, and Hassan, I was absolutely astounded at how kind, helpful, and accommodating they were. The entire team made me feel like my life was about to change for the better and that doors would open for me, and they were not wrong! I cannot recommend the service enough, at least the Burnley branch! The service was second to none and the team changed my life in one meeting. I cannot thank them enough.” The delivery manager in Burnley, Jason, said: “I am very proud of the care and attention Umera and Muz gave to Amber in her jobsearch. It is a perfect testament to the values of Fedcap as well as how hard we are all working for our customers in Burnley.” We are delighted to have been able to help Amber and look forward to supporting many others on their journey back into employment.
