Terms and Conditions of Prize Draw(s) – Amendments 29 August ‘23
The Fedcap Scotland September ’23 prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
Entries are free following a successful completion of a questionnaire and limited to one entry per person. The questionnaire is GDPR compliant, and entrants will not be contacted for any reason other than to advise of a prize being won.
The opening date for entries is 1st September 2023. The closing date of the prize draw is 08th October 2023. Entries received after these times will not be counted or valid.
If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when completing online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete questionnaires and will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any questionnaires which are not completed due to a technical fault (technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure) of any kind OR if you complete a questionnaire but do not receive a confirmation. If you have difficulty entering because of a technical problem with your device please contact the Promoter directly.
Winner(s) will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on the last day of the relevant Draw ("Draw Date").
The winners of the draw will receive:
1st Prize - £100 Scotland Loves Local gift card
2nd Prize - £50 Scotland Loves Local gift card
3rd Prize - £25 Scotland Loves Local gift card
• Completing the online survey will offer them access Fedcap Hub. The access must activate within 5 working days of notification or will lapse. They will have up to 3 months access, provided their account is active (must log in, in the last 30 days to be active)
• Everyone who completes online survey will be entered into free prize draw provided they leave contact details.
• Details will follow within two weeks of the closing of the September draw. There is no obligation use the free trial and there are no ongoing costs or commitments.
To be eligible to be entered into free prize draw, participants need to complete the survey and leave contact details. Winner(s) will be notified by email or telephone (where provided on questionnaire) before the end of five days following each Draw and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within five days of being notified by the Promoter or attempted notification in the event of being unable to contact, then the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
The prize will be sent to the winner within five days of being notified of their win. The prize for the winner(s) is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered.
The prize is supplied by Fedcap Scotland (the "Supplier"). The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control makes it necessary to do so.
The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into about it.
The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails communications@fedcapemployment.org or writes to Fedcap Scotland, Nova House, Edinburgh (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by email as above. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. If a participant breaches these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to that participant.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where necessary.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors (whether acting in their capacity as such or not) and/or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy. See also condition with regard to the announcement of winners.
The prize draw will be governed by Scottish law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

The Cottage Family Centre
The Fedcap Scotland Cottage Family Centre charitable donation is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
The donation is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
Entries are free following a successful completion of a questionnaire and limited to one entry per person. The questionnaire is GDPR compliant, and entrants will not be contacted for any reason other than to advise of a prize being won.
The opening date for entries is 0900 on 01 September 2023. The closing date of the prize draw is 1700 on 30 September 2023. Entries received after these times will not be counted or valid.
